Manipulatives	Poor No manipulatives are used to represent data.	Fair Manipulatives are used, but they do not represent the data given in the written story problem.	Good Manipulatives represent data given in the story problem accurately.
Solution	Poor Student does not have a number sentence or sum to show the solution	Fair Student only writes one number sentence and sum to show solution.	Good Student writes a number sentence horizontally and vertically with sums, to show solution.
