Student has to create a letter in formal letter format. Student will type or write the letter as neatly as possible.
Introduction and Conclusion

10 Points

Student will write more than five sentences for the introduction. Student makes you very excited to read the letter. Conclusion thanks author in more than four sentences.
Connections

10 Points

Student will write about atleast three connections they had with the book. Student should chose important, meaningful connections that go deeper in meaning.
Author's Style

10 Points

Student writes more than four sentences about three reasons they liked the way the author wrote the book. Student will give two specific examples from the book as support.
Grammar

10 Points

Student must use Standard English. Making sure all spelling, capitaliztion, and punctuation mistakes are corrected and letter is neat and easily read.
