Quality of Participation	4 You intiate conversation and/or are willing to answer open-ended questions in Spanish. Your responses are beyond a single sentence. You try to communicate more complex and longer sentences in Spanish.	3 You consistently responde in single complete sentences in Spanish. You are willing to elaborate when prompted. you try to communicate your ideas in Spanish.	2 You usually respond will single words. OR your respond so infrequently that it's difficult to assess your speaking ability and comprehension.	1 Your response are often incomprehensible or you are not willing to speak.
Independence	4 You are always on task during pair and group activities the entire time.	3 You complete most group and pair activities in the alloted time.	2 You sometimes need to be reminded to stay on task during group or pair activities.	1 You give minimum effort during pair and group activities and are often off task.
Use of Spanish	4 You stay in Spanish 90% of the time, when appropriate.
