Building Materials Building Materials Students will research and present their finding on the different types of building material that are and were used to build a house. They will also present information on what is new in terms of new technology that can be found in homes today. Poster 10 pts Poster that relates to subject matter.	Poor Poster was messy and I was not able to determine what the poster was about without looking at the title.	Fair Poster was somewhat easy to understand.	Good It was easy to understand what the topic was about.
Written Report 10 pts A one to two paragraph that covers information on the topic.	Poor Report did not make sense and was not legible.	Fair Report was very short and did not contain very much information.	Good The report contained good amount of information.
Done on time 10 pts Was the project completed and ready to be presented. Date the project was due 2/12/09.	Poor Project was not completed and ready to presented until 2/19.	Fair Project was not completed by the due date, but was presented on 2/17.	Good The project was completed by the due date and student presented the project to the class.
Presentation 10 pts Students were to present the topic that they chose and give a brief oral report and present their poster to the class.	Poor Student not present project to the class.	Fair Presentation was alright, but was hard to understand. The presenter did not give very much information that related to HD topic.	Good The presentation informative and was it easy to understand. The presentation related to the subject matter and to the poster.
Overall 10 pts Did the students use class time wisely and were able to complete the three parts successfully.	Poor Students was not able to combine the three parts successfully.	Fair Student did combine the three parts, but overall the it was lacking parts.	Good The student was able to combine all three parts of the project: poster, written and presentation.
