Pitch accuracy	Poor Most of the pitches are wrong: either a wrong note or off-key.	Fair Gets many of the right pitches, but sometimes gets lost.	Good Gets most of the pitches, with a only very few errors.	Excellent Confidently sings/plays all pitches.
Rhythm accuracy	Poor Most of the rhythms are wrong.	Fair Gets some basic rhythms, but sometimes gets lost in the beat.	Good Gets most of the rhythms right, with only a few errors.	Excellent Confidently performs all the rhythms correctly.
Style/interpretation	Poor The interpretation of the piece is not proper. The style of the piece is not preserved.	Fair Some parts of the piece are performed in correct style. Most of the interpretation, however, is out of style.	Good Most of the piece is performed in correct style and is interpreted correctly.	Excellent The performance is done beautifully and in style. Interpretations are correct.
Musicianship	Poor No dynamics. Most of the phrases are performed incorrectly. No articulation.	Fair Some phrases are complete and accurate. Some dynamics are observed. Some articulation is performed.	Good Most of the dynamics are followed, and most of the phrases are performed correctly. Most of the articulation signs are observed.	Excellent Student performs the piece with all appropriate dynamics and phrasings. Articulation is done precisely and beautifully.
