Creativity	Fail Student work lacks creativity in its entirety.	Poor Student is not creative throughout Newspaper. Approximately 1 of 7 requirements are creative and the arrangement lacks creativity.	Fair Student is creative throughout some of Newspaper. Approximately 3 of 7 requirements are creative and the arrangement is somewhat creative.	Good Student uses creativity throughout most of Newspaper. Approximately 5 of 7 requirements are creative and the arrangement is creative.	Excellent Student uses creativity throughout entire project, including all project requirements and arrangement of Newspaper.
Effort	Fail Student work displays no effort in its entirety.	Poor Student work displays minimal effort with minimal changes made to requirements. Student displays minimal effort in Newspaper arrangement.	Fair Student work displays some effort and some changes were made to individual requirements. Student displays some effort in Newspaper arrangement.	Good Student work displays effort throughout most of Newspaper. Student work is somewhat arranged like a Newspaper.	Good Student follows directions for most of project. All seven requirements are included with a maximum of one requirement not falling within the guidelines. Student work is arranged like a Newspaper.	Excellent Student follows ALL directions. All seven requirements are included and each is done according to its instructions. Student work is arranged like a Newspaper.
