Work ethic/participation	Needs Improvement Student did not use class time wisely throughout and offered little in terms of ideas, planning and assisting where necessary	Approaching Standards Student used class time wisely most of the time throughout and was helpful with ideas, planning and assisting where necessary	Meets Standards Student used class time wisely throughout the unit and completed all work on time.
Organization & Preparedness	Needs Improvement Technical work came at the last minute, was not at many of the class rehearsals or after school rehearsal	Approaching Standards Technical work was completed just in time for technical rehearsal and technician was at most of rehearsals and after school rehearsal	Meets Standards Technical work was done well in advance of technical rehearsal and attended all rehearsal in class and after school.
Understanding of the setting/mood	Needs Improvement Technical job may or may not have been completed, lacked effort and care	Approaching Standards Technical job was completed appropriately, demonstrating good work and effort	Meets Standards Technical jobs were completed with great care and thought, demonstrating quality work and effort
