Interaction with partner	Poor Student displays little or no interaction with partner involving the assignment.	Average Student displays little interaction with partner regarding assignment; tends to get off topic.	Good Student displays interactions with partner and offers some constructive feedback.	Excellend Student actively interacts with partner and offers partner constructive feedback of ideas.
Use of fairy tale characteristics	Poor Student uses none of the characteristics of a fairy tale discussed in class.	Average Student uses few of the characteristics of a fairy tale and uses them haphazardly.	Good Student uses several of the characteristics of a fairy tale and shows some organization of those characteristics.	Excellend Student uses most of the characteristics of a fairy tale and displays organization in using those characteristics.
Originality	Poor Students displays no original ideas and has put little effort into the story.	Average Student displays few original ideas and has not well thought out the story.	Good Student displays several original idea and has put forth effort with their story.	Excellend Student displays many original ideas and has exercised great effort in writing the story.
Use of proper grammar	Poor Student has many grammatical errors and does not use proper English.	Average Student has many grammatical errors and does not always use proper English and full sentences.	Good Student has several grammatical errors and occasionally has structure errors.	Excellend Student has few grammatical errors and few or no sentence structure errors.
