The goal is not appropriate for the individual student. The goal does not challenge the student or is too challenging to complete within the stated time frame.

The goal is realistic and directly to the personal interests of an individual student.

The goal is realistic but may lack clarity in its relation to the student's interests, wants and needs.
Needs Improvement
The goal is not realistic and does not relate well to the student's interests, wants and needs.

Meets Expectations
The goal has a specific time frame outlined.
Developing
The goal is lacking a beginning or ending time.
Needs Improvement
There is no time frame written into the goal.
