The goal is appropriate for the individual student but provides enough challenge for personal growth. Regardless of whether or not the student meets their anticipated goal, it is realistically achievable within the stated time frame.

The goal is somewhat appropriate for the individual student but does not provide enough challenge for personal growth in the sated time frame.

The goal is not appropriate for the individual student. The goal does not challenge the student or is too challenging to complete within the stated time frame.
R-REALISTIC

Meets Expectations

The goal is realistic and directly to the personal interests of an individual student.
Developing

The goal is realistic but may lack clarity in its relation to the student's interests, wants and needs.
Needs Improvement

The goal is not realistic and does not relate well to the student's interests, wants and needs.
T-TIMELY

Meets Expectations

The goal has a specific time frame outlined.
Developing

The goal is lacking a beginning or ending time.
Needs Improvement

There is no time frame written into the goal.
