Monochromatic Painting
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
The entire item is filled w/ paint	Poor The item has a large portion of white left unpainted.	Fair A small amount of original color is left on the item.	Good There is little or no orginal left on the item.	Excellent The entire item is filled beautifully with no original spots left unless they were added later with original paint color.
The effort put into the painting	Poor The student did not even attempt to do their best work.	Fair The student put in a minimal amount of work into their painting.	Good The student worked well on their painting but could have done a little bit more to finish it.	Excellent The student did their best work. The painting was of great quality for that students ability.
Tint, Shading and Shapes	Poor The student does not understand monochromatic colour and has reflected this in their work.	Fair The student understands the term monochramatic, yet their work does not demonstrate a clear tint or shade and lacks this accuracy of technique.	Good The student understands the term monochromatic and has displayed this with the use of one colour and applying tints and shades to an acceptable standard.	Excellent The student understands the term monochromatic and has displayed this with the use of one colour and applying tints and shades exceptionally. 3D painting was completely done.
Use of class time.	Poor The student was not on task the majority of class time.	Fair The student was on task some of the time. (About 50% of the class time).	Good The student was somewhat on task during class time. (About 75% of the class time).	Excellent The student was on task the majority of class time.
