Use a Strategy such as counting	Beginning There is little or no evidence of a strategy being used.	Progressing There is evidence of a strategy being used.	Achieved There is evidence of two or more strategies being used. *counting, labeling
Uses words & Math Lang.	Beginning No Math talk or very little.	Progressing Math talk is clearly presented so that the reader understands how the group answered the problem.	Achieved Math talk is clear and concise and contains math vocab. that demonstrates understanding of the task.
