Understanding Demonstration that instructions and concepts are understood.	Above average The student understands most of the instruction and concepts. Drawing with details of animal and creative doodles. Excellent use of possitive/negative space.	Average The student understand some of the instructions and comments. Pretty good drawing, some understanding of doodling and space.	Needs Improvement The students shows very little understanding of instructions and comments. Minimal drawing, hardly any details.	Unsatisfactory The student shows no understanding of directions and concepts.
Craftsmanship/Skill Neatness and care. Choice of materials and working with the materials.	Above average The student's artwork is well crafted with some attention to detail. Good use of thick and thin sharpies.	Average The student's artwork shows and average amount of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
