Robot Design Rubric
	Attempted Shows none to almost no effort. 1 pts	Acceptable Shows minimal effort w/disregard to assignment instructions. 2 pts	Admirable Shows significant effort, but lacks some elements of the assignment. 3 pts	Amazing Shows outstanding effort meeting most if not all elements of design criteria 4 pts
Basic Sumo bot	Attempted Difficulty with robot assembly of base bot Robot assembly done with more than 10 errors or is not built. Attachments (Ultrasonic and light sensors) weak and fall apart often; difficulty completing task Base design not followed easily	Acceptable Robot assembly done with 5 to 10 errors. Robot base structure has some stability. Attachments difficult to apply; and /or not modular; not precise. Base weak, falls apart when handled or run. Clearly leads team and in group settings with all aspects of robot construction, programming and achievement of objectives. Neutralizes disagreements and compromises when appropriate.
