Given specifics for the house, students are to prepare and present a house exterior view picture/drawing in color, floor plan for house and yard, calculations for purchases, and present plans to the class. 	Meets Standard Work meets and/or exceeds minimal requirements. 10 pts	Below Standard Work has minor flaws but meets most of the minimal requirements. 5 pts	Unsatisfactory Work has significant flaws or is not completed to meet minimal requirements. 0 pts
Plans -exterior view is provided -Perimeter is at least 120 feet -all rooms shown (at least 4 different) - dimensions labeled - square footage accurate -at least one room is not a rectangle or square	Meets Standard	Below Standard	Unsatisfactory
Carpet -carpet needed has been correctly calculated -the best deal for carpeting selected and all work that led to that decision is clearly shown and correctly done	Meets Standard	Below Standard	Unsatisfactory
