Information is relevant, complete, and reads like a real news report. All facts are correct. Describes the theme, the backstory that goes along with it, and ALL the characters involved with it.

Article covers most of the content but leaves out some key details. Some facts are incorrect. Describes only 2 of the following: theme, backstory, or characters involved.

Article makes no attempt to connect as a whole. All parts of the required information are not present.

Presentation/ Performance

30 pts Student will video himself/ herself and present the video to the class. Student should rehearse and put forth best effort.

Excellent

Presenter was very impressive with a clear voice, eye contact, and full development of the news report. The student appears to have rehearsed and the performance flows smoothly. All members know what they should be doing.
Good

Presenter had a clear voice, made minimal eye contact with audience, and the length was satisfactory. The student is not well organized. Appears that they have had minimal rehearsal.
Fair

Presentation was too short with little to no eye contact made with the audience. The student is very unorganized. Members do not know what they are supposed to do.
Poor

Presentation was not performed or previously taped for the class. The student shows no previous preparation.
