Supporting Details	2 Paragraph includes 0-1 supporting details to support the main idea.	3 Paragraph includes 2 supporting details that support the main idea.	4 Paragraph includes 3-4 supporting details that clearly support the main idea.
Conclusion Sentence	2 No conclusion sentence.	3 A final sentence is used, but does not correctly restate the main idea.	4 A final sentence is used to restate the main idea of the paragraph.
Punctuation	2 Many capitalization and punctuation errors.	3 Only a few errors of capitalization or punctuation.	4 Grade level appropriate grammar is used: capital letters at the beginning of sentences and for proper nouns and correct punctuation is used.
