Land Developemnt Project Student are asked to recommend plants and animals to be distributed to a certain area based on the biome and the climate of that particular area. There are three different areas. the students have to present their recommendations to the rest of the class. they also have to complete this project in small groups Rubric Code: N675C By hollymac Draft Public Rubric Subject: Science Type: Project Grade Levels: 9-12

Land Development Project

Gathering Information	Poor Students did not use time given to find the appropriate information. Required much supplementation from the teacher. used 2 or less resources	Fair Students were vigilant in gathering information but still required teacher supplementation for one of the sites. They had 3 to 4 resources	Good Students used their time wisely and gathered ample information about the three sites. They used more than 4 resources
Gorup work	Poor Group members worked poorly together. There was no clear task assignment.	Fair Students worked well together but did not effectively prepare the information. Some group members did not contribute as much effort as others	Good Student worked well together. Work load was evenly distributed. All members contributed to the final recommendations and all members used the time wisely
Information Compliation	Poor Information was sloppy and poorly organized. much of the required information was absent. All cases were lacking information.	Fair Information was neat but not organized well. most all of the requirements of Dr. Burberry were met. Missing aspects from 2 or less cases	Good Information was prepared in a neat, legible paper. content was coherent. All requirements of Dr. Burberry were met. All three cases were address completely
Presentation	Poor Presenters were hard to hear. they were reading striaght from notes. They were missing information from all three case files.	Fair Presenters were audible and clear. They needed to use notes to present the material. Lacking only a small portion of the requirements of Dr. Burberry.	Good Presenters were loud and clear. they knew the material. Visual aids used to support recommendations. Addressed all requirement of Dr. Burberry
