Organization	Poor The essay lacks an introduction, or a conclusion, or has less than three pieces of supporting evidence for the thesis.	Mediocre There is an introduction as well as a conclusion. However, there are not three pieces of information to support the thesis.	Excellent There is an introduction three pieces of supporting information for the thesis, and a well-developed conclusion.
Transitions	Poor Little effort was put into writing transitional words to begin paragraphs.	Mediocre There are some transitional words to introduce paragraphs after the introduction.
