"My Family" Poster and Oral Pesentation "My Family" Poster and Oral Pesentation Student will create a family portrait using pictures of their family members on a poster board. The pictures need to be labeled with the correct kinship terms and their relationships to student. The student will also introduce his/her family in a presentation to the class. Assessment Criteria
	Excellent 10 pts	Good 8 pts	Fair 6 pts	Poor 4 pts
Poster	Excellent Student included all family members and themselves with proper relationship terms.	Good Student included 10 - 12 members and themselves with proper relationship terms.	Fair Student included 6-9 family members and themselves with proper relationship terms.	Poor Student did not include the descriptions of any member of the family.
Pictures	Excellent The student had a graphic representation of each member of the family on the poster.	Good The student had graphic representations for almost all of the family members on the poster.	Fair The student had some graphics of the family members on the poster.	Poor The student did not have any pictures on the poster.
Neatness and Creativity	Excellent Family Poster is creative and neat. There is equal parent and student input.	Good Family Poster is neat but not creative. Family tree is creative but not neat. There is equal parent and student input.	Fair Family Poster is somewhat neat and creative. There is some student input.	Poor Family Poster is not neat nor creative. OR it is clear that the child had no input in the project.
Presentation The children demonstrate a knowledge of whom they are referring to.	Excellent The student properly introduced all members of their family in complete sentences.	Good The student properly introduced 10-12 members of the immediate family in complete sentences.	Fair The student properly introduced 6-9 members of the immediate family in complete sentences.	Poor Student did not properly introduce more than 3 members of the family.
