"Why I Am Glad To Be An American." 
Throughout the history of this great country, many people have fought for every citizen to have “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” As a result of their willingness to sacrifice their lives, time, and energy into protecting our America, we are able to enjoy freedoms that many people may never experience. In a five paragraph essay, explain why you are proud to be an American. Cite examples from specific historical events to strengthen the message within your essay.
