	Level 2 (N/A)	Level 3 (N/A)	Level 4 (N/A)
Rhythm/Tempo	Level 2 Attempts to keep a rhythm, but gets off beat and speeds up or falls behind often. Doesn't follow beat in music.	Level 3 Shows a basic understanding of tempo and beat, but sometimes falls behind and/or speeds up in places or makes errors in rhythm.	Level 4 Accurate in beat, tempo, rhythms of dance sequences.
Memory	Level 2 Student tends to follow others and has no knowledge of sequence order on their own.	Level 3 Student knows most of sequence order still makes errors and follows.	Level 4 Student has mastered sequence order and is able to perform on their own.
Dynamics/Efforts	Level 2 Student is moving through sequence without proper dynamics and intention. Student is marking the movement.	Level 3 Student is applying the proper dynamics but loses focus and energy through sequence.	Level 4 Student has mastered dynamics and efforts in executing the sequence.
Technique	Level 2 The use of contraction and other modern elements are not being demonstrated	Level 3 The use of contraction and modern elements are defined and student has developed some skill mastery.	Level 4 Student has mastered focus of contraction and modern elements, utilizing concepts for development.
