Emerging Skill Incorrectly demonstrates different voices more than half the time.
Appropriate Singing Voice	Exceeds Expectations Always uses appropriate singing voice, has never needed reminders or help. Able to control loud and soft volume.	Meets Expectations Uses singing voice almost all the time. Able to "sing out" without shouting.	Developing Skill Uses singing voice about half the time, reminders used to avoid inappropriate voices. Occasionally shouts when asked to "sing out."	Emerging Skill Often uses shouting, speaking, or silly voice instead of singing voice, even with reminders. Tends to shout when asked to "sing out."
