Life Span Begin with HS graduation/end with retirement	Poor Words on spaces are not easy to read.	Fair Too many words and spaces are not even.	Good Words are easy to read and understand. Spaces are even and evenly spaced on the board.
Family Situations Includes problems, celebrations, etc. dealing with family	Poor There are not realistic situations presented. There are not enough spaces to make a game that can be played by two people.	Fair There are too many of one kind of situation. Situations faced are too much alike. Players are not engaged.	Good All family types are named in the game. Problems and celebrations are spaced to make the game progress well. The game can be played by 2 to 4 people.
Rules are clear Must have clearly stated rules for playing	Poor Rules are not clear.	Fair Too many rules to remember without rereading the rules sheet.	Good Rules for playing are to be written to go with the game. Rules should be simple and easy to understand and make sense.
Presentation of Game Neat appearance and eye appeal	Poor Game does not have appeal.	Fair No color or interest is used in the game.	Good Creative and inviting to play. Color and some visuals are used to make the game fun. The game fills the playing board without being too busy.
