Class Work 2013 Weekly Participation and Attitude This rubric will evaluate the participation of a student based on preparedness, behavior, and attitude. Rubric Code: N374C4 By benbleue Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: English Type: (Other) Grade Levels: 9-12

Active Involvement	Excellent Student is constantly engaged in the class activity. Student does not need reminders to stay on task. Student is on-time for class. Student participates at least 100-90% of the time. Student does not refuseto answer teacher's questions.	Above Average Student is often engaged in the activities. Student is 5-10 minutes late. Student could participate more in class activity, but is never causing a distraction. Student does not refuse to answer questions.	Average Student is sometimes engaged in the activity. Student needs a couple reminder to get back on task and can be distracting to teacher and classmates. Student has refused to answer 1-2 questions.	Poor Student is not involved with the class activity. Student needs constant reminders to get back on task. Students is not actively participating, but paying attention. Student is distracting to the class as a whole. She has refused to answer questions or has answer one questions.	Extremely Poor Usage of cellphone Engaged in activities not assigned or not yet assigned by Ms. Howee. Cutting class or more than twenty minutes late. Sleeping Severe disruption.
