Creating a T-shirt Design Creating a T-shirt Design The student will create a T-shirt design for their selected Tourist Region of West Virginia . It will be graded on is creativity, originality, attractiveness, whether or not it demonstrates good use of color and pattern (where applicable), and includes a logo for the tourist region. 	Level 1 Limited Effectiveness 5 pts	Level 2 Somewhat effective 10 pts	Level 3 Effective 15 pts	Level 4 Highly Effective 20 pts
Design Effort design effort is creative/original and demonstrates understanding of the assignment	Level 1 -lacks creative/original design -doesn't demonstrate understanding of the assignment	Level 2 -somewhat creative/original design - demonstrates fair understanding of the assignment	Level 3 -creative/original design -demonstrates good understanding of the assignment	Level 4 very creative/original design -goes beyond the assignment requirements
Use of logo & Grammer application of logo to T-shirt design	Level 1 -logo is missing -several words misspelled	Level 2 -logo is too small or is otherwise undecipherable -a few words are misspelled	Level 3 -logo is decipherable -a couple of words are misspelled	Level 4 -creative use or placement of logo adds to the overall design of the T-shirt -all words used are spelled correctly
Color/Pattern use of color and, where applicable, pattern	Level 1 -time was not used wisely to insure neatness	Level 2 - fair use of color/pattern	Level 3 - good use of color/pattern	Level 4 - excellent use of color/pattern
Overall Effect attractiveness of T-shirt neatness	Level 1 -T-shirt is not attractive	Level 2 -T-shirt is fairly attractive	Level 3 -T-shirt is attractive	Level 4 -T-shirt is very attractive...I'd wear it!
