Advanced Pinch Pot

Pinch pot structure design	Fair Student did not use the pinch pot technique correctly. Student did not follow the directions.	Good Student created a pinch pot design with a creature but the pinch pot ended up really small or too big to define a creature.	Excellent Student creatively incorporated a pinch pot structure into a creature or mythical monster. The structure has an opening and uses different elements and details to render the animal/creature.
Neatness in Sculpting	Fair Pinch pot looks messy and doesn't resemble a creature/animal.	Good The pinch pot as a few uneven areas, parts of the sculpture either broke off or cracked in some areas.	Excellent Vessel is neatly and carefully done, the design is easily identified and a lot time was taken to complete the assignment.
Glazing	Fair Colors are applied incompletely or carelessly. Colors are distracting.	Good No name was added to the bottom of the sculpture. Entire pinch pot was glazed, but some layers look a little thin, like more glaze could have been added.	Excellent Added name or initials to the bottom of sculpture and kept track of vessel and clay during projects. Student went above and beyond for glazing their project, making their vessel excellent.
