Good Student varies volume for voices but cannot be heard for the entire performance.	Excellent Student varies volume expertly for the voices but can still be heard for the entire performance.

Good Student chooses volume pitch and rate and is almost consistent with only one issue.	Excellent Student chooses, and consistently uses, the same volume pitch and rate.
