	Fair 4 pts	Good 7 pts	Excellent 10 pts
Coil Techniques	Fair Student did not use the coil technique properly. There is no evidence of coils.	Good Student used 1-2 coiling techniques throughout their project.	Excellent Student creatively incorporated three or more coiling techniques to complete their clay vessel.
Neatness in Sculpting	Fair Vessel is uneven, not smooth inside, messy, and rough	Good Vessel has a few uneven rough areas, the inside is smooth.	Excellent Vessel is neatly and carefully done, smooth inside, and even throughout.
Height	Fair Clay vessel did not reach the height requirement.	Good Student was just under the height requirement of 6 inches.	Excellent Student met the height requirement of 6 inches.
Glazing	Fair Did not add name or initials to bottom of sculpture. Colors are applied incompletely or carelessly. Colors are distracting.
