Used 8 different verbs correctly in preterite past tense.
Also 8 different verbs in imperfect past tense.

Used less than 8 correctly of either.
Spelling in verbs was wrong. Missing accents.
asi asi
Less than 5 different verbs of either were correct.
Many spelling errors
no muy bien
Used verbs that were beyond Spanish 3, as from an online translator.
Expected teacher to proof read / fix verbs for them.
Vocabulario
Excelente
Used exactly 5 vocab from this chapter. Was original in creating a myth.
Used at least 3 past participles as adjectives.
Made an index.
Muy Bien
Used more or less than 5 chapter 4 vocab terms. Legend hinted at a copy of a Disney legend or ancient Greek myth.
Used only 1 or 2 past participles as adjectives.
asi asi
No past participles as adjectives correctly.
Very few words in the index at the end of story, yet many words are not from previous chapters meaning you did look them up somewhere.
no muy bien
Used an online translator / phone in working on this assignment.
Failed to provide an index at the end of words they had to look up that an average Sp 3 student would not know.
Story line
Excelente
This story / legend has a beginning - middle and conclusion that arrives at explaining a universal topic. Characters are general and not specific to any one person in actual history.
Muy Bien
Story falls short in being universal
or
is weak in a defined beginning - middle-or end.
Student decides to include "actual" people
asi asi
Story is really not a myth at all, but simply a story.
No universal "explanation" comes from the writing of it.
It fails to convince reader that a larger power actually marked the event for future generations.
no muy bien
Failed to develop a plot, some of the characters, or a large universal explanation. It was simply sentences in the past tense.
Class time and neatness
Excelente
Student used in class time wisely. Rough draft was legible and spaced correctly.
Final typed draft was double spaced, size 14 font and had 1-2 clip art.
Muy Bien
Student spent in class time talking with friends.
Rough draft was not neat, not correctly spaced nor turned in on time.
asi asi
Came to class unprepared to WORK.
Thought they had more time outside of class to do this assignment.
no muy bien
Neatness was lacking.
Thought this was partner work.
Expected teacher to let them have much more time than was generously allowed.
