Badminton Playability
	Minimal 1 pts	Basic 2 pts	Average 3 pts	Proficient 4 pts
Birdie charachteristics during play	Minimal High arching, short birdie flight Open racquet face during ralleys underhand strokes as opposed to above the shoulders strokes	Basic Ralleys of at least 5 hits. Lower birdie flight than minimal level Birdie flight varies from arching to parallel randomly Strokes are becoming more above the shoulders	Average Ralleys longer than 10 hits. with consistant parallel birdie flights Most strokes are above shoulder hight. "Pop" sound when hitting birdie becomes more prevalent.	Proficient Ralleys are shorter because of strategic placement of birdie based on pace and birdie flight and opponent positon Loud "pop" sound is herd on parallel hits
Consistancy of ralleys	Minimal Inconsistant hits during raleys	Basic minimal control of racquet and birdie contact	Average confidence in racquet/birdie contact (solid contact with the ball majority of time)	Proficient Consistancy of hits are proficient at contact with control hitting with spin ralleys may vary due to advanced level of hitting
Racquet/Strokes	Minimal 1 type of stroke/racquet grip	Basic use of 1 grip with minimal use of 2 strokes (fore/back hand)	Average use of more than 1 grip if needed. Minimal comfort with use of forehand and backhand	Proficient Player has developed proficiency with a favorite stroke overall for the majority of play. Starting to explore different grips for different situations
Pace of birdie during ralleys	Minimal Slow pace	Basic Medium pace	Average medium pace with varying speeds	Proficient fast pace with low arhing
