	EXCELLENT 4 pts	GOOD 3 pts	FAIR 2 pts	POOR 1 pts
Participation	EXCELLENT Student consistently participates in all activities and demonstrates a consistent effort.	GOOD Student usually participates in activities and demonstates a strong effort.	FAIR Sudent sometimes participates and demonstrates effort in most activities.	POOR Student rarely participates in activities. Demonstrates poor attitude when instructed to be active.
Sportsmanship	EXCELLENT Student consistently follows the rules and demonstrates fair play in all activities.	GOOD Student regularly demonstrates good sportsmanship and follows the rules of fair play.	FAIR Student sometimes demonstrates good sportsmanship. Responds inconsistently to reminders of fair play.	POOR Student has demonstrated poor sportsmanship on occassion which may include inappropiate language and/or behavior.
Skill Development	EXCELLENT Student demonstrates strong skill acquisition in most activities.	GOOD Student demonstrates good skill acqisition in most activities.	FAIR Student demonstrates inconsistent skill acquisition in most activities.	POOR Student demonstrates limited skill acquisition in most activities.
Following Directions	EXCELLENT Student follows directions and procedures while in the gym/weightroom as well as the classroom all of the time.	GOOD Student follows all directions and procedures while in gym/weightroom as well of the classroom most of the time.	FAIR Student follows some directions and procedures while in the gym/weightroom as well as the classroom.	POOR Student does not follow directions and procedures at all.
Attendance/Tardiness	EXCELLENT Student is always in class. Student is in designated spot when the bell rings.	GOOD Student is in class most of the time. Student is usually in their designated spot when the bell rings.	FAIR Student is in class some of the time. Student sometimes makes it to their spot on time.	POOR Student is rarely in class. Student never makes it to their spot on time.
Dress	EXCELLENT Student is always dressed to participate in class.(shorts,sweats,t-shirt and sneakers)	GOOD Student is dressed for class most of the time.
