Pantomime
This activity is designed for students to act out a non-verbal communication skit. A written story must accompany this project. You must act out the story and it should be at least 1-2 min. You may choose several ideas that are attached to his rubric.

Beginning was confident and executed well. The focus was strong and energy was present, Overall the actor used exaggerated and dramatic facial expressions, making use of eyebrows.

The pantomime had no beginning, middle, or end. It was flat and did not take the audience through a story. Scene was well under 1 minute long. Little to no effort to create a story line. Actor broke character.

Pantomime had at least a beginning, middle, and/or end but the journey was not entirely obvious to the audience. Story needs work. Scene wasn't long enough, Either the beginning, middle or end was unclear, Actor seldom broke character.

Pantomime had a full storyline: beginning, middle, and end. The performance was clear in the journey of the performer. The scene was 2 minutes long and the story was absolutely clear from the beginning to the ending. Actor remained in character throughout.

The pantomime did not have any form to it. It was completely unclear as to what the pantomime was about and therefore unbelievable

The majority of the pantomime was executed well. Most of the actions were clear and the action was understood by the audience

The pantomime was executed very well. All the actions were believable and therefore the overall action was clear to the audience.<

Lack of emotional connect. Flat expressions, did not change or expressions or feelings.
