Evident that the student gained skill and understanding of using soft slab methods and using the tools. Clay is even, smooth and there are no cracks. The underside of the bowl is finished.

Project was done sloppily.The student showed poor craftsmanship or lack of understanding. The bowl did not hold together as it dried, showing poor construction.

Student did the minimum to create the bowl. The student showed average skill and understanding of ceramic techniques. While the bowl held together it may not look complete or like a true bowl.
