Hypothesis	1 Student attempted to create a hypothesis but the hypothesis was not clear and could not be proved or disproved.	2 Student created a hypothesis.	3 Student stated a clear hypothesis that could be proved or disproved	4 Student stated a clear hypothesis that could be proved or disproved and gave an explanation why they felt the hypothesis would be proved.
Data Recording Sheet Enter description	1 Student created a data sheet but did not know what data they were looking for or what data to record.	2 Student created a data sheet but struggled to know what data they needed to record.	3 Student created a data sheet that data could be recorded on.	4 Student created a data sheet that data could be recorded on and made room for notations and other details they might notice.
