Inspiration 10 pts	Excellent The student was able to give a detailed explanation of his/her inspiration and where the inspiration was found for the creation of the invention.	Proficient The student was able to give a detailed explanation of his/her inspiration for the creation of the invention.	Acceptable The student was able to give an explanation of his/her inspiration for the creation of the invention.	Limited The student was not able to give an explanation of his/her inspiration for the creation of the invention.

Originality 10 pts	Excellent I am unaware of this invention ever have been created. This is a revolutionary idea.	Proficient There is a slight chance that someone else may have created a similar invention.	Acceptable It is highly likely that someone else may have created this invention.	Limited I know of a very similar or exactly the same invention.
Planning 10 pts	Excellent The plan for the invention provides a detailed and complete financial plan for the creation of the invention. Includes a detailed with dimensions drawing.	Proficient The plan for the invention provides an accurate plan for the creation of the invention. Includes a drawing with details but no dimensions.	Acceptable The plan for the invention provides a vague financial plan of the invention. Includes a basic drawing.	Limited The plan for the invention does not provide a financial plan of the invention. Includes no drawing.
Promotion 10 pts	Excellent The student performed a detailed engaging plan focused on his/her invention and corresponding material.	Proficient The student performed a detailed plan for his his/her invention and corresponding material.	Acceptable The student performed a plan regarding his/her invention and corresponding material.	Limited The student did not give a detailed nor an engaging plan regarding his/her invention and corresponding material.
Documentation 100 pts	Excellent The student provided all the necessary information:. *Journal in Google Doc -includes problem (5 points) -includes research with sources (10 points) -includes specifications (5 points) -shows evidence of brainstorming (10 points) -shows evidence of best solution (5 points) -shows evidence of development work/redesign (15 points) -prototype either live or in 3D auto-cad or something similar (30 points) -evidence of testing, it not successful r	Proficient The student provided at least 80% of the information listed on the checklist.
