Football skills, DB/WR Enter rubric description
	Beginner 1 pts	Novice 2 pts	Intermediate 3 pts	Advanced 4 pts
Route running Demonstrates understanding of route tree as an observer and participant.	Beginner student don't know the passing routes after attempting them.	Novice student has some idea of the route tree but isnt very confident.	Intermediate Student knows the different types of routes and can successfuly complete them.	Advanced Student knows the entire route tree, and is able to teach and demostrate them to the other athletes.
ball skills Demonstrates decent ball skills and great awarness on the field.	Beginner Student doesnt finish the route correctly, while having difficulty catching the ball.	Novice Student shows average hands, but have difficulty locating ball.	Intermediate Student catches the ball with hands, while running the proper route.	Advanced Student catches the ball with hands, and shows great agility after finishing the route.
Footwork Exhibits skill to backpedal and jam while stationary and moving.	Beginner Student doesnt try and fails throughout the whole defensive drills.	Novice Student can perform some drills with some consistency in a non game situation and with no defenders present.	Intermediate Student can perform the skill in a game situation when left one on one.	Advanced Student can combine backpedal with great technique to defend a opponent.
Defense awarness Demonstrates competency of positions found on defense.	Beginner Student doesnt know the different football formations after completing them.	Novice Student know some of the football formation.	Intermediate Student knows the correct positions for defense and can list their responsibilities	Advanced Student knows the correct positions for defense and can assign/explain roles to teammates
