Exemplary

The students mention and clearly define the topic. The definition is informative, factually correct, and the students use proper vocabulary to define the topic. The topic enhances and ties in well into the story.
Storyboard

Developing

Students make little or no attempt to tell their story to the class.
Sufficient

The students tell their story to the class but leave out details or reads straight out of the book.
Advanced

The students have a clear and well thought out story and tell the class the story in the time allotted.
Exemplary

The students have a clear and exemplary story that is beyond the expectations of the assignment. The story is very unique and well written and the students have a clear and interesting storyboard.
Guidelines

Developing

The students ignore the timelines given for the presentation (4-5 minutes) and makes no attempt to tie in a topic to the story.
Sufficient

The students have an average presentation with grammatical errors, and long pauses. Most of the guidelines are met.
Advanced

The students have a good presentation, but has pauses and is not well rehearsed or organized. All guidelines are met or exceeded, but the presentation itself needs more work.
Exemplary

The students have a well thought out presentation that does not have any long pauses and flows well. The students make good use of time and addresses all aspects of the assignment.
