Attendence

OUTSTANDING

You CONSISTENTLY come to class on time every day unless you are at home sick or come late WITH an excused tardy slip from the office
AVERAGE

MOST of the time you are on time to class, but there are days that you are late with no excuse. Be aware that it works for both you and the group if you in your chair ready to sing when class begins.
BELOW AVERAGE

You RARELY come to class on time. You need to change something in your morning schedule that will fix this.
Preparation

OUTSTANDING

You are CONSISTENT with being seated, having your music folder in hand
AVERAGE

MOST OF THE TIME you are seated when class begins, have your music folder in hand and put it back at the end of class.
BELOW AVERAGE

You RARELY are seated, when class begins, have your music folder in hand and put it back at the end of class. I need you to change this habit so that our rehearsal time is not cut short.
Gum

OUTSTANDING

You are CONSISTENT in keeping the NO GUM rule during rehearsal and/or performances.
AVERAGE

SOME of the time you remember to get rid of your gum before class, but I have to remind you.
BELOW AVERAGE

You RARELY pay attention to the NO GUM rule during rehearsals, therefore we need to discuss consequences.
Energy

OUTSTANDING

You CONSISTENTLY sing with energy during rehearsals (and warm-ups!) You have a positive attitude and give 100% effort during class.
AVERAGE

SOME of the time you sing with energy during rehearsals. You participate in all that the group is doing but with about 80% effort put into it.
BELOW AVERAGE

RARELY do you sing with energy. There are days that you don't stand and participate in warm-ups or just not sing at all during part of a rehearsal. You may give about 50% effort to the group on a regular basis. This needs to change for the group to sound good.
