	Exemplary 4 pts	Adequate 3 pts	Partial 2 pts	Minimal 1 pts
Content	Exemplary Summary includes an introduction sentence and lets the reader clearly know what the passage was about. All key terms are used from the text.	Adequate Summary lets the reader know what the passage was about. Some Key terms are used from the text.	Partial Summary gives a general idea of what the passage was about. 1-2 Key terms are used from the text.	Minimal Introduction gives little or no idea of what the passage was about. There are no key terms used.
Conventions	Exemplary Very few (0 - 2) errors are found.	Adequate Some errors (3 - 5) are found.	Partial Several errors (6 - 9) are found.	Minimal Too many errors (10 or more) are found.
