Participation	Excellent -Student works hard to complete all tasks in the time given.	Above Average -Student completes all tasks, but is distracted by other interests.	Average -Student completes almost all tasks during class time and finishes for homework.	Minimal -Student does minimal work, or rushes to complete quickly without regard to quality. -Student displays off-task behavior.	Poor -Student refuses to work. -Student allows other group members to work without giving input. -Student displays off-task behavior multiple times.
Location Cards	Excellent -All cards are complete, work is high quality, and details are added	Above Average -All cards are complete, and details are added	Average -All cards are complete,	Minimal cards are incomplete	Poor cards are not present
Journal	Excellent -Journaling gives precise location using more than 5 representations -Writing assignments expand points and give detailed support well beyond the task.
