Poster and Presentation rubric 
Students are to make a Facebook page of a colony that is taught in one of the three lessons. They are to include a profile picture, wall post, status updates, and anything else found on a Facebook page all relating to the colony they choose. The status updates and wall post need to be related to the colony they choose. Be creative!

Poster includes all relevant information; however, it does not utilize the resources and/or is not well-organized.
Fair

Does not have all of the relevant information of the poster. Sources and information are not used in an effective manner, or there is not enough information presented. Information is presented in an unorganized fashion
Poor

The poster is lacking in elements required and in resources used. There are many gaps in information presented.
Work quality/effort

Exceeds

The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is proud of his/her work. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be by the learner.
Good

The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this poster and presentation.
Fair

Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.
Poor

Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.
Style/Mechanics

Exceeds

The poster has an element of creativity and style,, and is not just a list of facts. The poster is presented in a clear and concise manner with full understanding of the subject.
Good

The poster is clear and logical and contains facts as well as very few mistakes. Good clear presentation.
Fair

The poster lacks style and reads more like a list of facts than an oral group presentation. The poster lacks neatness and clarity
Poor

The poster lacks a clear understanding of the subject matter and their are many errors. Poster is not creative.
Presentation

Exceeds

The student speaks clearly and puts information with complete understanding of their information.It is evident that the student has prepared what they will say.
Good

The student speaks clearly and presents a good amount of the information expected.
Fair

There are several confusing moments and the information presented is not completed relayed during the presentation. The student has not practiced or prepared.
Poor

The student is unprepared to present. No preparation was done for the presentation and the information that was presented lacks many elements of what is expected.
