Web Based Element Project This rubric is to grade an element project that is completely online. The students make a wordle and an online poster. Rubric Code: M4W9XX By abeyke Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: Education Type: Project Grade Levels: K-5

	Poor 1 pts	Fair 3 pts	Good 5 pts
Wordle	Poor The student did not make a wordle that accurately matches the element. The notes were obviously not complete or correct.	Fair The student makes a wordle, but it is small, there are only a few words, and some are incorrect.	Good The student makes a complete wordle with many words that reflects the student's particular element.
Poster Info	Poor The student does not have correct uses or information about his/her element.	Fair The student has uses but not information about the element or the student has information but not uses for the element.	Good The student has correctly described the element's uses and information is correct.
Poster Extras	Poor The student did not put any extra items on the poster other than written text.	Fair The student put maybe one picture or some design on the poster.	Good The student put much effort into the poster's color, pictures, etc.
Creativity	Poor The student did not use any creativity with this project. The wordle and poster were bland.	Fair The student uses some creativity with this project. There is some color to the wordle and poster.	Good The student uses much creativity with this project. The wordle and poster are very visually stimulating.
Grammar	Poor There are many spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes. The wordle and poster are very hard to comprehend.	Fair There are some spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes.	Good There are very few spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes. Overall, the project is well written.
