Exemplary - A Includes rhythm, uses figurative language (personification, similes and/or metaphors), vivid word choice (colorful adjectives, action verbs), and lively dialogue	Proficient - B Includes rhythm, uses some figurative language (personification, similes and/or metaphors), some vivid word choice (colorful adjectives, action verbs), and dialogue.	Making Progress - C Includes rhythm, and attempts to use some figurative language (personification, similes and/or metaphors), some vivid word choice (colorful adjectives, action verbs), and dialogue.	Not Yet - D Includes rhythm, but attempts to use figurative language, vivid words, and dialogue is limited.
Organized - Transitions	Exemplary - A Broken into stanzas, organized in chronological order, and transitions from stanza to stanza are smooth and clear.
