Pattern layout knowledge	Insufficient Evidence The student needed help with pattern lay out on daily basis.	Approaching Student needed help with pattern layout most of the time.	Meeting Student needed help with pattern layout some of the time.	Exceeding Student did not need help with pattern layout out.
Pattern Cutting	Insufficient Evidence Seams are puckered and/or stretched. The seams are wider than what the instructions called for. Student did not keep right sides together.	Approaching Seams are wider than what the instructions called for but are not stretched or puckered. Three or more seams do not have right sides together.	Meeting Seams are a little wider than what the instructions called for. One or two seams do not have right sides together.	Exceeding Seams are the correct width that the instructions called for. They are not puckered or stretched. Project has right sides together throughout the project.
Appearance	Insufficient Evidence Project does not look like it is suppose to. 3 or more parts are mishapen.	Approaching Two parts are mishapen on the project.	Meeting One part is mishapen on the project.	Exceeding Project constrution was correctly shaped and aligned.
Time Management	Insufficient Evidence The student did not finish project in the time allotted.	Approaching Project needed more than one additional day to finish.	Meeting Project was completed on time.	Exceeding More than one project was completed.
Clean Up	Insufficient Evidence The student did not help clean up the room on a daily basis.	Approaching Student only cleaned up their own area.	Meeting Student cleaned up their area and helped others in close proximity when asked to do so.	Exceeding Student cleaned up their area and offered help to those needing it. This student was always willing to organize cabinets and drawer areas of shared supplies.
