Anatomy & Physiology Final Project Students will complete a comprehensive project on the different types of tissues, the integumentary system, the nervous system, the endocrine system, including a lab experiment and report, along with a description of a disease and its treatment plan. Grading Criteria

Presentation Materials	Excellent Excellent development and use of visual aids. Correct grammar, neatness, and professional appearance. Limited or no errors present.	Good Good use and development of visual aids. Visual aid enhanced the presentation and related to the material. A couple errors present.	Fair Adequate use of visual aid. Visual aid slightly enhanced the presentation. Multiple errors present.	Poor Poor visual aids, did not enhance/relate to topic. Slides were filled with cut and paste paragraphs. Many errors present.
Delivery	Excellent Presentation is excellent, extremely organized, interesting, creative, and easy to follow. Demonstrates originality. Students demonstrate a clear and thorough understanding of the content. Able to talk / discuss content freely without reading entirely from the materials.	Good Presentation is clear and understandable, interesting, and organized. Students demonstrate a clear understanding of the content. Are able to talk about content fairly easily, reading from materials occasionally.	Fair Presentation is fairly organized, slightly engaging. Students demonstrate some understanding of the content, relying heavily on the materials to relay content.	Poor Presentation is unclear, unorganized, unengaging, difficult to follow. Did not seem to know the material. Heavy reliance on notes. Students demonstrate little to no understanding of the content, relying entirely on materials to relay content.

Integumentary System	Excellent Students have provided a clear and thorough description of the integumentary system (skin & accessory organs) along with visual aids, and using credible sources.	Good Students have provided a description of the integumentary system, along with some visual aids, and a few credible sources.	Fair Students have provided a basic description of the integumentary system, with a couple visual aids and credible resources.	Poor Students have provided a limited and/or unclear description of the integumentary system, with limited or no visual aids or credible sources.
Nervous System	Excellent Students have provided a clear and thorough description of the nervous system including how neurons pass information, along with visual aids, and using credible sources.	Good Students have provided a clear description of the nervous system and its pathway, along with some visual aids, and a few credible sources.	Fair Students have provided a basic description of the nervous system, with a couple visual aids and credible resources.	Poor Students have provided a limited and/or unclear description of the nervous system, with limited or no visual aids or credible sources.
Endocrine System	Excellent Students have provided a clear and thorough description of the endocrine system, along with visual aids, and using credible sources.	Good Students have provided a description of the endocrine system, along with some visual aids, and a few credible sources.	Fair Students have provided a basic description of the endocrine system, with a couple visual aids and credible resources.	Poor Students have provided a limited and/or unclear description of the endocrine system, with limited or no visual aids or credible sources.
Lab Experiment & Report	Excellent Students have demonstrated a clear understanding and working knowledge of the system being tested, and the experiment reflects that. Report has little to no errors, has professional and scientific layout.	Good Students have demonstrated a working knowledge of the system being tested, and the experiment reflects that. Report has a couple errors, layout is semi-professional and scientific..	Fair Students have demonstrated a limited understanding of the system being tested, the experiment is basic, limited effort. Report has multiple errors, layout is somewhat professional and scientific.	Poor Students have demonstrated little to no understanding of the system being tested, the experiment is basic, no effort. Report has many errors, layout is not professional or scientific.
Disease Poster	Excellent Students have provided a clear and thorough description, comprehensive list of signs and symptoms, risk factors, biological explanation, how it affects the body, and treatment plans. Poster is neat, clean, organized, and easy to read.	Good Students have provided a clear description, and mostly comprehensive list of signs and symptoms, risk factors, biological explanation of how it affects the body, and treatment plans. Poster is clean, organized, and fairly easy to read.	Fair Students have provided a brief description and a some of the signs and symptoms, risk factors, biological explanation of how it affects the body, and partial treatment plan. Poster is not easy to ready, and not organized well.	Poor Students provided a limited or no description, few or none of the signs and symptoms, risk factors, biological explanation of how it affects the body, and little to none of the treatment plan. Poster is messy and disorganized.
