SETUP	UNSKILLED Cutting between supports	BASIC drop-off to the side	INTERMEDIATE stabilize work with help of partner	ADVANCED body alignment correct, work stable	MASTER quickly assume correct posture and able to stabilize work alone
FIRST CUT/ AIM	UNSKILLED does not use reverse stroke	BASIC not enough reverse strokes	INTERMEDIATE uses 6 good reverse strokes and aligns to correct side of line	ADVANCED good reverse technique very close to line	MASTER perfectly square alignment using reverse strokes and reflection technique
MAIN CUT	UNSKILLED random strokes, jumps out of kerf	BASIC lots of side action, tries to steer to correct	INTERMEDIATE better rhythm and less steering, alignment improves	ADVANCED well began rhythm , produces flat end cut, but not square	MASTER slow smooth straight rhythm with perfect alignment for good results
