Family through Pictures ~ Clarissa Sligh 
Using a photocopy of an individual/event personal to their life, and some nontraditional materials students will create one visual/narrative composition similar to the ones shown that Clarissa Sligh did in her series Reframing the Past. Student’s will be given the opportunity of choice as to how they wish to create a narration within the piece. They must however, identify the individual(s)/event, and provide some form of written information within the piece expressing their thoughts of the individual(s)/event

Student does not present piece. only providing limited information about its funcation and purpose. -or- Student only presents piece with no explaination.
Fair

Student present piece, but provides limited explaination as to how they created their piece. Not enough information to understand function and purpose of the piece.
Good

Student presents piece and explains how they made their creation; noting all their nontraditional items. Provides enough information to understand function and purpose of piece.
Excellent

Student presents piece and elborates effectively on their choices of materials, their functions and purpose within the piece. Student efficently explains the creation of their piece.
