The Glog has a well-stated
clear purpose and factual information is clearly presented in the glog. Facts are related and correctly stated to historical figure with clear writing expectations.
Good

The Glog has a stated purpose and theme, but may have one or two elements that do not seem to be related to it. Written facts may have one or two errors in mechanics, but all information given is correct.
Fair

The purpose and theme of the Glog is some- what muddy or vague. There are several elements that do no seem to be related to topic. Mechanics of writing consists of multiple errors, some information is incorrect about historical figure.
Needs Improvement

The Glog lacks a purpose and theme. Very few facts given, many errors in mechanics of writing, focus is not to present information rather create a picture.

The student has an exceptional understanding of the topic. Research is clearly represented in the amount of supporting details in essay. Student addresses all components and guidelines for information subtopics.
