Creativity	Excellent Image demonstrates a very creative approach to the assignment; student has expanded on the basic requirements. It is clear that the student explored several choices/solutions to the assignment.	Acceptable Good representation of assigned objectives. The student has explored creative solutions to the assignment.	Needs Work Fair representation of assigned objectives; lacks originality and shows little or no evidence of trying anything unusual.
Exposure/Contrast	Excellent Photo image is excellent with good contrast and range of light to dark tones to enhance the focal point.	Acceptable Tonal range is good overall; the image could use more contrast.	Needs Work Tonal quality is fair; little contrast in color and neutrals.
Focus	Excellent Excellent detail in highlights, shadows & midtones makes a good, clear image. Initial photo was obviously taken with proper camera settings selected.	Acceptable Good detail in image; selective blur & sharpening will enhance parts of the image.	Needs Work Fair detail in image; selective blur & sharpening could enhance some parts of the image.
