research	Poor Had little to no research, only used the packet I gave out in class, plagiarized excessively, research came from questionable source	Fair Had adequate research, but did not hilight or indicate the pieces used in the presentation	Good had 3+ sources of research, hilighted the excerpts used in the presentation, research came from reputable source ( encyclopedias, geography websites, books from the library, etc. )
visual aid	Poor did not turn in a paragraph explaining what you did to help on the visual aid, work done is sloppy	Fair helped with the visual aid, but did not adequately explain your work, effort = not a lot	Good ellaborate visual aid, paragraph explaining work matches the effort you put into the visual aid, colorful, relevant to the presentation
presentation	Poor speaking part was minimal, did not contribute to the overall presentation	Fair adequate speaking part, but reading straight from a card or research pages	Good more than adequate speaking parts, creative, only using note cards as a guide, took questions if there were any, presentation flowed as a whole
